Great to welcome the South Australian Deputy Premier and Minister for Climate, Environment and Water, the Hon. Susan Close MP to ResourceCo’s new glass recycling plant at Wingfield which is now fully operational.

Deputy Premier, Minister for Climate, Environment & Water, the Hon. Susan Close MP viewing our new recycled glass sand with Brad Lemmon, ResourceCo’s CEO of Recycling & Waste

With funding support from state and federal governments, our new glass recycling plant will process glass from a wide range of sources, creating recycled glass sand, an alternative to virgin material.

Commending the true collaborative approach of the plant, the Deputy Premier commented “The South Australian Government is pleased to partner with industry, local and Commonwealth governments by investing into infrastructure like ResourceCo’s glass recycling plant.

From grant funding, to supplying feedstock through MRFs and procurement opportunities for off-take products, this partnership is truly collaborative”.

Representatives from state and local governments joined our clients to learn about resource recovery processes, our products, and the partnership opportunities we have in the future. Download our produce brochure to learn more about ResourceCo’s glass sand:
