In a heartfelt tribute to Cooper Reid, a cherished member of the ResourceCo family, we proudly announce the naming of our cadetship program, The Cooper Reid Cadetship Program. This initiative not only honours Cooper’s legacy but also aims to nurture the next generation of resource recovery leaders.

Cooper Reid, affectionately known as “Coop,” joined ResourceCo as the first cadet in 2021. His journey through various hands-on roles in Melbourne and his eventual rise to Business Development Manager in Brisbane exemplifies the growth and development opportunities within ResourceCo. Coop’s enthusiasm and dedication left an indelible mark on the company, making him a beloved figure among colleagues.

The Cooper Reid Cadetship Program offers a unique two-year journey, immersing participants in multiple aspects of ResourceCo’s nation-leading resource recovery activities. Cadets can gain exposure to plant and machinery operations, sales, accounts, business development, and more. Supported by a dedicated mentor, participants will also have access to ResourceCo’s annual training calendar, which includes a variety of short courses.

Upon completion of the program, cadets will receive a Certificate 4 in Business (Operations) and a strong potential for long-term employment within ResourceCo. This comprehensive program is designed to equip cadets with the skills and experience needed for a fulfilling career in resource recovery.
