There is always time for learning and development, especially when it comes to safety.

Our heavy mobile equipment operators at ResourceCo’s Brooklyn and Hampton Park sites have been back in the classroom and out on their machines undergoing their all‑important Verification of Competencies.

“It is not only important to have the relevant ticket for each piece of kit, we must also ensure that our operators understand the work we do and have the knowledge and skills to complete their tasks safely and efficiently,” said Brooklyn Operations Manager Peter Venditti.

“This process allows us to develop our own team of senior competent operators, who can help train and look after our newer operators, and constantly review and refine how we teach,” added Hampton Park Operations Supervisor Marty Brown.
