ResourceCo’s Emerging Leaders program has quickly become a cornerstone of our leadership development initiatives. In fact, its growing popularity and impact prompted us to run the program twice this calendar year!

Feedback from participants highlighted that the program’s content is invaluable to managers at all levels, from emerging leaders to our Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

Taking this into account, we introduced a new format for 2024, creating two tailored cohorts: one for emerging operational leaders and another for emerging corporate leaders. This approach fostered more relevant discussions and strengthened networking opportunities, as participants could share relatable examples and learn from one another’s experiences.

The Corporate Leadership Cohort, which concluded recently, undertook a comprehensive four-day program delivered in two blocks. The first two days were held in Victoria in September, where participants visited the Mulgrave and Hampton Park sites. The final two days took place in South Australia in November, with visits to Rose Park and Wingfield.

Facilitated by Michael Harrington from The Ashwood Strategics Group, along with insightful contributions from ResourceCo’s HR and ESG teams, the program delved into critical leadership topics. Participants explored leadership expectations, the characteristics of effective workplace leaders, and how leadership styles impact workplace dynamics.

We extend our congratulations to the recent 2024 Emerging Leaders Program participants: Ida Johansen, Oscar Jarmakani, Alix Zeppel, Mathew Mesaros, Michael Lonel, Jenny Smith, Elise Franklin, and Alex Kilroy.

This program represents ResourceCo’s continued commitment to cultivating strong, capable leaders who can drive success and innovation across our organisation. We’re proud of the journey these leaders have embarked on and look forward to their contributions in shaping our future.
