Mining

At ResourceCo we are always looking for ways to reduce, reuse and recycle and the mining industry is a perfect example of how we can reuse old conveyor belts. Tyrecycle is part resource recovery group ResourceCo.

If you require assistance with the recycling of old tyre and conveyor belts then Tyrecycle can assist with this process.

To note; after processing, tyres and belts may be used for granulation feedstock, the base material from which we produce repurposed products. We’re also producing Tyre Derived Fuel (TDF) and Tyre Derived Aggregate (TDA) as well as rubber granulate in varying sizes, rubber crumb (440 to 710 micron) and recovering steel from tyres.

TDF is becoming a globally important alternate fuel in high temperature combustion industries like cement and lime manufacture. Tyres are recycled here in Australia, and the resultant TDF is used to fuel enormous industrial kilns here in Australia and throughout Asia.

Tyrecycle continues to work with government and industry to increase awareness of the importance of tyre recycling and the promise of associated product development. Tyrecycle was integral in the establishment of the Australian Tyre Recycling Association and initiating Product Stewardship discussions.
